A few notes about our
Gymnastics Floor Music:
Our affiliation with several record labels and established performing artists
allows us to bring quite an assortment of "real" music into the gymnastics arena. For instance, you'll
be amazed at the violin artistry of Bill Murk as well as the guitar talent of Chris Hough. If you're more of a
hip hop gymnast, be sure to listen to La Caution's much sought-after "Laser Dance" song (featured in
the movie Ocean's 12). Gymnasts who want big band floor music will love the energetic songs by Denver
& The Mile High Orchestra (just FYI: as of December 2007, D&MHO finished as a top 3 finalist on Fox TV's
The Next Great American Band show. Our congratulations go out to all the guys in the band)! And
speaking of big band floor music, if you want more of a Latin flavor, "Make it Glorious" (featured in
the movie The Gospel) doesn't disappoint. We're also very excited to open 2008 with an energetic
medley of Christmas music, arranged for full orchestra.
We're also very excited to open 2008 with a wonderful arrangement of
Christmas music entitled "Christmas Medley". This piece was recorded by the Nashville String Machine
for Truth, a contemporary Christian group, so you know it's top of the line.
The energy of this orchestra will blow you away!
In addition to the "real" floor music mentioned above, Musical
Designs has also arranged and produced several more gymnastics songs. Our own floor routine recordings include
favorites such as "Nobody's Perfect", "Vogue", "Buttons", "Hips Don't Lie",
“Die Another Day”, “Duel”, and “The Diamond Music”. We've also produced a number of
harder-to-find songs such as “The Nanny Named Fran”, “Mr. Grinch” and “Goodbye, World, Goodbye”.
And this is just the beginning ...we plan to produce a variety of gymnastics music and welcome all suggestions, so
